40% of Americans are obese and 75%+ overweight. I was in the top 1% of fat people, weighing 480 pounds. Ozempic changed my life in 1.5 years. Not affected, not impacted but truly fully changed. Today when I look at the scale and it read 180lb, I am in disbelief. People used to look at me for a second and turn away in disgust, sadness and hate. Today I blend into society.

I have been on Wegovy, Zepbound and now Reta. Stalled on the first two, tapered off and gained all the weight back. Started with 2 mg of Reta for 4 weeks (didn't feel anything because I have been at max dose of the other two). Feel good on 4 mg of Reta but not losing. Suggestions? Not really working out or tracking because I've never had to on the other ones to lose.

Been on Glp-1's since 12/2024. Tirz is like a trusty Toyota, gets the job done with little fanfare. Reta is like a finicky high-end car, impressive performance but difficult to drive-still haven't figured it out after 10 months. Never tried sema--gonna guess that's like a Yugo where you feel every pothole.
