Peptides for Testosterone: What the Evidence and Users Say
Do peptides raise testosterone? hCG, kisspeptin, gonadorelin and GH peptides explained, with what anonymous users report. Not medical advice.

Short answer
No peptide is approved to raise testosterone in men with normal hormone function. The peptides linked to testosterone act on the hormone chain above the testes — the brain's GnRH, then LH from the pituitary — and the one with a long medical record, hCG, is a prescription drug used for specific conditions such as hypogonadotropic hypogonadism and for preserving fertility. Peptide Confessions does not publish dosing, timing, injection or sourcing guidance.
How the hormone chain works
The hypothalamus releases GnRH in pulses; the pituitary answers with LH and FSH; LH tells the testes to make testosterone and FSH supports sperm production. Exogenous testosterone (TRT) shuts this chain down, which is why testes shrink and sperm counts fall on TRT. Each peptide below acts at a different point.
| Compound | What it is | Where it acts | Status | Published confessions |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| hCG | Glycoprotein hormone that mimics LH | Testes | Prescription drug (fertility, hypogonadotropic hypogonadism) | 1 |
| Kisspeptin | Neuropeptide upstream of GnRH | Hypothalamus | Research only | 2 |
| Gonadorelin | Synthetic GnRH | Pituitary | Little approved use today; mostly compounded or research-labelled | 0 |
| Enclomiphene | Oral SERM — not a peptide | Oestrogen feedback in the brain | Not approved in Canada or the US | 0 |
| GH peptides (CJC-1295, ipamorelin) | GH secretagogues | Pituitary GH, not LH | Unapproved | No testosterone report |
What users report
The file is small. #284, a 44-year-old man, describes much larger ejaculate volume on kisspeptin. #64 describes a pregnancy after three failed IVF rounds, using kisspeptin-10 with hCG from a forum protocol rather than their specialist. Neither measured testosterone in the story. No published confession here reports a measured testosterone rise from any peptide.
What does move testosterone in the research: weight loss. Testosterone is often low in men with obesity and tends to rise as weight falls, which is one reason GLP-1 users sometimes report libido changes — see peptides for weight loss. Libido itself is a separate question: PT-141 vs Viagra.
Before trying anything
Low testosterone is diagnosed with repeat early-morning blood tests plus symptoms, and the cause matters: pituitary problems, medications, sleep apnoea and obesity all lower it. Fertility is a separate goal from testosterone level, and only a semen analysis confirms it. Research-labelled hCG, kisspeptin and gonadorelin are unregulated in quality. Community Q&A
- Do any peptides increase testosterone?
- None is approved for that in men with normal hormone function. hCG raises testosterone by mimicking LH and is a prescription drug for specific conditions. Kisspeptin raises LH in research studies but is not an approved medicine. GH peptides do not act on testosterone directly.
- Is enclomiphene a peptide?
- No. Enclomiphene is an oral selective oestrogen receptor modulator (SERM). It raises LH and FSH by blocking oestrogen feedback in the brain, and it is not approved in Canada or the US.
- What do users report about kisspeptin?
- Two published confessions: #284 describes larger ejaculate volume, and #64 describes a pregnancy after IVF failures while using kisspeptin-10 with hCG. Neither reports a measured testosterone level.
- Does this page give dosing advice?
- Peptide Confessions does not publish dosing, timing, injection or sourcing guidance.
