Anti-Aging Peptides: What the Evidence and Users Say
Anti-aging peptides — epitalon, GHK-Cu, NAD+, MOTS-c — hype vs evidence, and what anonymous users report. Not longevity advice.
Anonymous user report. Not medical advice. Peptides discussed are not FDA-approved for the uses described. Editorial process →
Short answer
No peptide is proven to reverse ageing in humans. 'Anti-aging peptides' usually means copper peptide GHK-Cu (mostly skin), epitalon (telomere and pineal research, largely from one research tradition), NAD+ precursors or IV NAD+ (a coenzyme, not a peptide), and mitochondrial peptides such as MOTS-c and SS-31. Cosmetic skin data for GHK-Cu is stronger than lifespan claims for any of them. Peptide Confessions does not publish dosing, timing, injection or sourcing guidance.
What people usually mean
| Compound | Claimed angle | Evidence snapshot | Published confessions |
|---|---|---|---|
| GHK-Cu | Skin firmness, repair | Small cosmetic and lab studies | 58 |
| Epitalon | Telomeres, sleep, 'longevity' | Mostly Russian research tradition; limited independent replication | 12 |
| NAD+ | Cellular energy | Raises NAD+ in small human studies; clear anti-aging outcomes unproven | 11 |
| MOTS-c | Metabolism, exercise capacity | Mouse data; human athletic/longevity trials lacking | 34 |
| SS-31 | Mitochondria | Human trials in rare disease; FDA accelerated approval for Barth syndrome only | 16 |
What users report
Skin and hair dominate GHK-Cu stories. Epitalon reports often mention sleep. NAD+ and MOTS-c stories lean toward energy and recovery. None of these files is a lifespan study. For the neighbouring framing see peptides for longevity, epitalon vs NAD+ and peptides for skin.
Ageing is not a peptide deficiency
Exercise, sleep, not smoking, blood pressure, blood sugar and cancer screening have far stronger evidence for healthy ageing than any research peptide. Sudden weight loss, night sweats or cognitive decline need medical evaluation.

Community Q&A
- What are the best anti-aging peptides?
- There is no proven ranking. GHK-Cu has the most cosmetic skin data; epitalon, NAD+ and MOTS-c are marketed for longevity with much weaker human outcome evidence.
- Is NAD+ a peptide?
- No. NAD+ is a coenzyme. It is often sold alongside peptides, which is why it appears on peptide sites.
- Do anti-aging peptides reverse ageing?
- No peptide has been shown to reverse ageing in humans. Marketing language outruns the evidence.
- Does this page give dosing advice?
- Peptide Confessions does not publish dosing, timing, injection or sourcing guidance.
