Sermorelin for Weight Loss

Does sermorelin help weight loss? What growth-hormone studies show for fat and lean mass, what users report, and realistic expectations.

Short answer

Sermorelin is not a weight-loss drug. By modestly raising growth hormone it may shift body composition slightly toward lean mass in some adults, but trials are small and the scale often does not move much. Tesamorelin, a related GHRH analogue, is the one with trial evidence for reducing belly (visceral) fat — and only in HIV-associated lipodystrophy. Approved weight-loss medicines are GLP-1 drugs. Peptide Confessions does not publish dosing, timing, injection or sourcing guidance.

What users report

Sermorelin confessions here talk about sleep inside a stack (#119) and the injection routine (#685), not weight loss or muscle gain. In the trials summarised on sermorelin before and after, weight and fat mass did not change. Where people report fat loss alongside sermorelin, they are usually also on a GLP-1 drug.
