Peptides for Inflammation: What the Evidence and Users Say
Peptides for inflammation — KPV, BPC-157, TB-500, GLP-1s — what research shows and what anonymous users report, including no effect. Not medical advice.

Short answer
The anti-inflammatory peptides people talk about online — KPV, BPC-157, TB-500 — rest mostly on animal and lab studies, and none is approved for inflammation in Canada, the US or the EU. The peptides with human trial evidence touching inflammation are approved GLP-1 drugs: in trials, semaglutide lowered the inflammation marker CRP, and in the STEP 9 trial it reduced knee osteoarthritis pain alongside weight loss. Peptide Confessions does not publish dosing, timing, injection or sourcing guidance.
Inflammation peptides by the numbers
Published confessions tagged with each peptide on 15 October 2026. A tag is not an inflammation report; the column on the right says what the file contains.
| Peptide | Published confessions | Evidence base | What the file contains |
|---|---|---|---|
| BPC-157 | 71 | Animal studies | 11 mention pain or aching and 16 a joint (data report) |
| GHK-Cu | 58 | Lab and small cosmetic studies | Mostly skin and hair |
| TB-500 | 29 | Animal studies | Usually paired with BPC-157 |
| KPV | 14 | Mouse colitis and lab studies | Gut and skin inflammation, e.g. #91, #147 |
| Semaglutide | 37 | Human trials (CRP, knee OA pain) | Mostly weight loss; #686 describes less joint inflammation |
What users report
#91 credits topical KPV for clearing an inflammatory skin condition that years of steroid creams had not. #147 describes 15 years of scalp seborrhoeic dermatitis clearing while using several compounds at once, including KPV and thymosin alpha-1 — so no single cause can be named. #686 lost no weight on semaglutide for two months but describes feet and joints feeling less inflamed within weeks. On the other side, #116 felt nothing from BPC-157 and TB-500 after multiple surgeries, and #120 describes knees flaring like tendonitis after a short BPC-157 and TB-500 run.
When inflammation needs a doctor
Inflammation is a symptom, not a diagnosis. Joint swelling, inflammatory bowel symptoms, persistent rashes and raised CRP have causes — autoimmune disease, infection, gout — that have proven treatments. Hot, swollen joints with fever, blood in the stool, or a spreading red injection site need prompt medical care. Related: peptides for gut health, peptides for joint pain, peptides for recovery.

Community Q&A
- What peptides are used for inflammation?
- Online, mainly KPV, BPC-157 and TB-500, all supported mostly by animal studies and none approved. Approved GLP-1 drugs such as semaglutide have human trial data showing lower CRP and, in STEP 9, less knee osteoarthritis pain.
- Does KPV work for inflammation?
- KPV is the C-terminal tripeptide of alpha-MSH and reduced inflammation in mouse colitis models. Human data is lacking. In this archive, #91 credits topical KPV for clearing a skin condition and #147 describes dermatitis clearing on a multi-compound stack.
- Do anti-inflammatory peptides always work?
- No. #116 describes BPC-157 and TB-500 doing nothing after surgery, and #120 describes knees flaring after a short run. Positive reports are anecdotes.
- Does this page give dosing advice?
- Peptide Confessions does not publish dosing, timing, injection or sourcing guidance.
