People assume I prescribe peptides because I believe in them.

People assume I prescribe peptides because I believe in them. The truth is messier. I believe in some of them. The rest, I prescribe because patients walked in with printouts from a podcast and a credit card already in their hand, and if I said no, they'd buy it from a research-chems site by Friday. So I write the script, I run the bloodwork, I keep them alive. I tell myself harm reduction is still medicine. Most days I believe it.
