DSIP: Sleep (Anonymous Report) #772
I owe an update to the people who read my post about DSIP ruining my sleep. My usual medication, Quviviq, had been helping me fall asleep. Then I had trouble getting it from the pharmacy and tried DSIP instead. Three attempts. Horrible nightmares, waking throughout the night, irritable and miserable during the day. I stopped DSIP. Eventually got my prescription sorted. Went back on Quviviq. The broken sleep continued for more than two weeks. At that point I was convinced DSIP had done something lasting, and that’s how I wrote about it. Then one night I didn’t take Quviviq. I stayed asleep properly. Stopped taking it altogether and that improvement continued. I still don’t understand the timing. I can’t tell you whether there was some interaction or whether I’d connected things that weren’t connected. What I can tell you is that the story changed after I’d already posted it with absolute confidence.
